The Swemed system for denudation and transfer of oocytes allows maximum control and minimum risk of trauma to the oocyte during denudation. The Swemed user friendly denudation pipette is available in varying diameters. Like all Swemed pipettes it is manufactured from the highest quality borosilicate glass.
Eliminate the risk of entrapping the embryo
Each pipette comes with a specially designed sterile silicone bulb. The volume of the bulb is less than 75% of the inner volume of the pipette. This means that the speed at which the oocyte is aspirated can be exactly regulated, at much lower speed than normal resulting in easier handling of the embryo and eliminates the risk of trapping the embryo or oocyte in the pipette.
Each pipette is individually inspected and measured microscopically. The pipette and silicon bulb are dry heat sterilized at 160°C/320°F.
